2007 Philadelphia Flower Show

The grand daddy of them all, the Philadelphia Flower Show is the largest in the US. This is definitely the best in the East, and our NW Flower Show is the best in the West. The theme for this years show is "Legends of Ireland".

Once Upon a Time...

A flickering of fireflies gathered at the edge of a sunlit brook and made its way along the water's edge toward a world of beauty and fragrance.

A brilliant blooming entrance of living walls welcomed them to a land of enchantment.

Where castles overflowed with lush plants,

Where carved boulders told a story of Ancient Ireland,

Where some of this country's most cherished symbols came to life,

Philadelphia, March 8 & 9

Went to PHL after work on the 7th. Had no problems NR-ing on NW. Planned to see the city the first day and go to the Flower Show all day Friday. The weather was awesome. Brisk wind, but nice and sunny, temps in the mid 50's.
