Went to Chicago for the weekend to shop and have dinner with our ORD Station friends. It's been one year since the cutover. Diane took us to Dick's Last Resort. Interesting place. Food good, atmosphere weird. Bra's hanging above the bar, people throwing things are other people, impatient waitstaff, but it was fun.

Narcissus Queen Pageant, Jan 5, 2008

Went on my first trip of the year, and lo and behold, I went back home. Non-rev'ed to HNL, even got first class. Wow! Anyway, the purpose of the weekend was to see Tiffany (Creigton's niece, so I guess that makes her my Niece-in-law) run for Narcissus Queen. She did her best, but she did not place. In fact, the results were very surprising. I can normally pick the court, but this time was only able to pick 3 of the top five. Of the 13 contestants, there was no clear cut favorite for Queen. Oh well.
