Since the only thing to see in Houston is NASA (that's questionable per Brenda and Rhonda), I decided to take a side trip to Dallas, and go to the State Fair of Texas. It's the largest in the nation, you know. Anyway, it made more sense to purchase a ticket than to standby. The ZED was only $5 less than the confirmed price. I stayed at the Marriott Dallas Market Center with a EEO (Buy one weekend night get one free) and the offer included a $100 gift certificate and $50 off the next Hertz rental. Wow, what a deal, all for $99! Anyway, here are some highlights...Big Tex welcomes all!
